So if you didn’t know…I’m getting MARRIED! Just kidding, everyone knows at this point because I’m practically screaming from the rooftops that I get to marry the man of my dreams! Well, this past weekend two of my best friends planned the most amazing, beautiful, simplistic and perfect bridal shower for me! They know me so well because everything was exactly my taste!
I wanted to post some photos and tell you all about the vendors that were used and just relive the beautiful afternoon over again. So first, let’s start off with the food! I’m pretty much the pickiest eater ever so the girls did an amazing job with the food. They had mini chicken and waffles (with Chick-Fil-A nuggets), mini quiches that everyone loved, fresh fruit, mini muffins, a cute cheese board and dip with crackers. The way everything was laid out was perfect for people to walk through picking their favorites and not getting held up anywhere.
Next up, the cookies! The beautiful, can’t even imagine that they would even taste so good beautiful, cookies! If you’re local to the Dallas/North Dallas area, check out @mandalil_cookies on Instagram! They were beyond gorgeous and delicious! They even sent me home with a bag of extra cookies that my fiancé definitely appreciated! He has the biggest sweet tooth in the entire world!
Now onto the decorations! I told them I wanted white with maybe a little pink and gold and that’s it! They did a PERFECT job! The star of the show was definitely the massive balloon from Float Balloon Bar! It was huge, had gold and white confetti and even said “The Future Mrs. Sinclair” on it! Everyone saw it right when they walked in and I still can’t get over it! The flowers were gorgeous and all white with pops of pink here and there. Classic and beautiful! White balloons lined the dining room table and little tea lights in gold holders were all around! There were also photos of Denver and I (and our sweet pup Murphy) scattered throughout in gold frames!
I told them I didn’t really want to play any games, so they came up with a cute idea for people to write down date night ideas and advice for the bride! I’ve read every single one and they are all so incredibly sweet! I’ll save them forever.
The bar was stocked with make it yourself mimosa’s and the guests definitely enjoyed them! So much so that we ran out of orange juice pretty early on! There were cute champagne glasses with stirrers that said “cheers” on them, and beautiful white flowers of course!
The shower was at my friend Hannah’s parents house and is described as a “party house” by her mother! Couldn’t be a more perfect name for their beautiful home! Hannah has an event planning company called MK Event Boutique so I knew this would go off without a hitch and she had the help of my friend Meghan too so even better! I loved having so many people there to enjoy an afternoon and celebrate our upcoming marriage. My sweet fiancé even stopped by at the end to help with presents and say hi to everyone!
All in all, it was the perfect shower thrown by some of my best friends and bridesmaids and I couldn’t have been happier! We actually ended the day with our last premarital counseling class so we have officially graduated! I can’t believe we’re just 37 days away from our wedding!!! I’m slightly excited if you can’t tell.
